Cassis Angel Smoothie

CassisCassis makes a delicious cocktail in sparkling water or champaign. But here is a smoothie recipe.

  • 1.5 oz Cassis liquor
  • 1.5 oz plane yogurt
  • 1.5 oz soda water
  • 1-2 cups ice

Mix in blender.

Black Russian Smoothie

This will f*ck you up and make you fat at the same time. But damn how good it is!

  • 4 scoops chocolate ice cream
  • 1.5 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz vodka
  • Ice

Add lots of ice until you get a nice consistency.

Baileys Banana Colada

Baileys has so many delicious possibilities when it comes to recipes for alcoholic smoothies. Don’t be afraid to experiment!

Blend and add ice cubes until you reach the desired consistency.

Amaretto Smoothie

Amaretto originates from Italy and is a sweet liqueur made from almond.

  • 2 oz amaretto
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 12 ice cubes

Blend it and enjoy!

Blushy Melon Vodka Smoothie

This alcoholic smoothie recipe calls for at least half a gallon (1.5 l.) blender as instead of liquids we are using watermelon for the most part.

  • Quarter of a large watermelon
  • 1 orange
  • 4 large strawberries
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 15 ice cubes (add more if you want it thick)

Put the sliced orange and strawberries first in the blender, then the watermelon, vodka and ice. This is so the ice doesn’t get stuck at the bottom. If the blender is not co-operation because of the lack of liquids turn it off and swirl the ingredients around. The watermelon should provide more than enough liquid substance to the smoothie even though the blender might struggle at first.

Strawberry Mojito Smoothie

StrawberriesMojitos is our favorite here at spikedsmoothie.com. They are so damn good! Here is a strawberry mojito recipe.

  • 5 large strawberries
  • 12 Mint leaves (you can really never have too much of this, don’t be afraid to splash in some extra)
  • 1 oz lime juice (or 1 whole skinned lime)
  • 1.5 oz Rum (I like white)
  • 2 table spoons sugar (brown is good)
  • 12 ice cubes
  • 3 oz soda water

Be careful with the soda or it might get too thin, even try it without any soda and extra ice. This should serve around 2 tall glasses.

Pineapple Orange Smoothie

Pineapple23fatchicks.com has this one. It’s a diet site actually and according the info this smoothie is only 255 calories and serves 4. Hmm might as well make that rum double then!

  • 1 (8 ounce) can canned pineapple chunks, undrained
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tray ice
  • 4 maraschino cherries, garnish

In a blender, combine pineapple, orange juice concentrate with juice, rum, sugar, lime juice and ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with cherries, and serve.

Tinyee’s Orange Smoothie

OrangeThis alcoholic orange smoothie named after its creator comes from webtender.com.

  • Crushed Ice
  • 1/2 cup Cointreau
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 cubed Mango
  • 5 sliced Strawberries
  • 1 can Lemon-lime soda
  • 2 cups Orange juice

Put crushed ice into blender, about 2 cups. Add Cointreau. Add fruits, lemon juice and orange juice. Blend.

With machine on, pour one half of the soda and reserve for serving. Once blended, pour into glass three-quarters of the way and add remaining soda.

Cointreau is flavored with oranges like Triple Sec and considered to be of higher quality. However if you don’t have Cointreau around it probably won’t kill you to use Triple Sec instead.

Rum Berry Cooler

RaspberriesThis one is from the Eat Crap - Die Young blog, a blog which although does not sound all that wholesome is all about health.

  • 1 measure white rum
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Half cup raspberries (strawberries would also taste great)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup soda water
  • Half cup crushed ice

As usual, stick it all in the blender for about 30 seconds. Decorate with a couple of lime slices and serve.

White light

BaileysThis is a variation of the After Eight cocktail, it’s unhealthy, fattening and most importantly extremely good. Serves 1-2.

Throw it all in a blender and mix.
Tip: Add 1/3 oz. Kahlua for a nice coffee flavour.
